Being the source of some really 'juicy gossip' at work is never a pleasant experience, especially if what people are saying about you is true. It can be surprising how much an office can look like a high school, with real-life adult mean girls who can really make your work life difficult if they want to. 

Like Mean Girls, sometimes all you want to do is give an entitled coworker a taste of their own medicine, and show them what it feels like to be the talk of the office. Exactly as the girl in this Reddit story decided to do. After her coworker found out that she was living in a tent due to house pricing, instead of being supportive, he decided to spread that information around the office, creating an extremely difficult situation for her. But, instead of dwelling on her own misfortune, this employee decided to get payback in the best way possible – more gossip.

    Common Chester • 2d ago I can't for the life of me understand this mindset. I had a prep cook who I found out was homeless. I thought him everything I knew about how to be a cook. When he was ready I found him a decent job and helped him get an apt. He now has a nice GF and a normal life.
